Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Slamen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes to the cage accompanied by Loser. Paul Penn could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Troy Slamen's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slamen misses with a looping left.
Slamen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Slamen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Slamen wants to clinch.
Penn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Slamen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Penn.
Penn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Penn lands in his opponent's guard.
Slamen keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully.
Penn looking to sit in guard and control but Slamen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Slamen wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving.
Penn controls Slamen momentarily but Slamen frees himself.
Slamen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Penn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Slamen is looking to work some ground and pound but Penn has wrist control.
Penn is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Slamen frees his head nicely. Oh but Penn has switched to an armbar! Slamen is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
