Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sepp Maier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Mikhail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maier comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mas não bate. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Vladimir Mikhail! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maier tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mikhail swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mikhail throws a shot from downtown. Maier moves away and avoids it. Mikhail misses with a two punch combination.
Maier is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mikhail sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Maier scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maier is trying to work for a kimura but Mikhail is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Maier is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mikhail doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Maier. Maier sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mikhail defending well though. Maier looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Maier takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maier has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mikhail defend it? Maier steps over the head and cranks it - Mikhail is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Maier!
