Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timbe Suomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Martin Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Martin Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Timbe Suomi!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Suomi tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Suomi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Suomi.
Jones takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Suomi controls the position from side control.
Suomi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Suomi trying to control the position but Jones is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suomi working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Suomi in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Suomi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suomi on the ground.
Suomi is staying tight to Jones's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Suomi landing a few strikes.
Suomi lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jones down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Suomi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Suomi stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Suomi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Suomi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Suomi controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Suomi moves into full mount! Jones won't be happy about that!
Suomi lands a big elbow.
Jones is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Suomi locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Jones is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Timbe Suomi!
