5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Leo! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grims closes the distance and clinches up with Leo, looking for a takedown. Grims pushes Leo against the cage but Leo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Grims misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Leo jabbing away but nothing is landing. Leo misses with a series of wild punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leo is looking to clinch. A big left from Leo misses. Leo lands a glancing blow to the side of Grims's head. Bobby Leo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grims. Leo tries to close the distance and clinch but Grims swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Leo doesn't manage to clinch there - Grims circles away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Grims. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Grims trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Grims is working hard here to advance position. Grims has gone for a leg lock! Leo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Grims's guard. Leo wants to stand but Grims is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grims working for a triangle but Leo defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Leo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Grims is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leo wants to stand and escape but instead Grims has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Grims postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Leo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Grims, into his guard. Leo wanted to stand there but Grims had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Grims had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Leo defends it easily. Leo wants to stand but Grims has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Berry Grims. I think Leo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
