Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rubao Valadares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian Mcdonald! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcdonald fails with a takedown attempt. Valadares catches Mcdonald with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Mcdonald shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Valadares sprawls well. Valadares wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcdonald gets slowly back to his feet. Mcdonald shoots in looking for a takedown. Valadares tries to sprawl out of it but Mcdonald keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Valadares manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rubao Valadares has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. You can see the frustration on Valadares's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. letting Valadares counter with a right hand. Valadares lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ian Mcdonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mcdonald. Mcdonald looks for a takedown but Valadares sprawls well. Mcdonald bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Valadares is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. Mcdonald prevents Valadares from improving his position. Mcdonald wants to free his trapped foot but Valadares is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mcdonald is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Valadares is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mcdonald's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mcdonald's back! Mcdonald trying to control the hands but Valadares won't let him. Mcdonald manages to reverse the position and now he's in Valadares's guard. Nice work there by Mcdonald.
