Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Mantle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrique Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Craig Mantle has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Craig Mantle seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Mantle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Henrique Yamamoto! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mantle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yamamoto did well to prevent Mantle getting side control. Mantle is trying to control the action in half guard but Yamamoto is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mantle seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Mantle tries to pass the half guard into mount. Yamamoto knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Mantle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yamamoto on the ground. Mantle wants to stand but Yamamoto has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yamamoto looking for submissions off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mantle looks to land a combination. Yamamoto sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Mantle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Yamamoto was covering up waiting for the punch and Mantle finishes the takedown easily into guard. Yamamoto looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mantle trying to stand up but can't free himself from Yamamoto's guard. Yamamoto tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mantle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yamamoto is proving hard to escape from. Mantle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mantle trying to control the position from guard on top but Yamamoto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mantle tries to free his leg and advance position but Yamamoto is retaining full guard. Mantle wants to stand but Yamamoto is controlling his posture from full guard. Yamamoto has control of Mantle's left arm, preventing Mantle from doing any damage. Yamamoto pushes a forearm under Mantle's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Mantle is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Henrique Yamamoto!
