The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcsmashenstein checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Brannigan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mcsmashenstein connects with a right hand. Brannigan shakes it off.
Mcsmashenstein misses with a wild combination.
An inside leg kick from Brannigan misses.
Brannigan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mcsmashenstein is out of range and Brannigan settles back down.
Brannigan is looking to clinch but Mcsmashenstein is avoiding it.
Brannigan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mcsmashenstein.
Mcsmashenstein digs a good body shot into Brannigan's ribs.
Mcsmashenstein keeps the fight on the outside.
Brannigan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mcsmashenstein shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Brannigan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brannigan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Brannigan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Brannigan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mcsmashenstein throws out the jab.
Brannigan misses with a low kick.
Mcsmashenstein throws a looping overhand right but Brannigan ducks down to avoid it.
Edward Brannigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brannigan tries to clinch but Mcsmashenstein moves out of range.

Brannigan moves in looking to clinch but Mcsmashenstein pushes him off.
Mcsmashenstein keeps the fight on the outside.
Mcsmashenstein circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mcsmashenstein throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mcsmashenstein drops Brannigan with a beautiful combination! Brannigan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mcsmashenstein is looking for the KO!

Mcsmashenstein lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Brannigan is looking to close the distance but Mcsmashenstein sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Brannigan crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Brannigan is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
