Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edwardo Ruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pogrom Evreev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pogrom Evreev is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Edwardo Ruiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pogrom Evreev! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruiz misses with a looping right. Ruiz moves in looking to clinch but Evreev pushes him off. Evreev tries to clinch up and Ruiz counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ruiz. Ruiz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Evreev is looking for a triangle but Ruiz pushes his legs off easily.
Ruiz looking to pass the guard. Ruiz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Evreev keeping moving, preventing Ruiz from controlling successfully. Ruiz showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruiz prevents Evreev from getting back to his feet. Ruiz trying to control the position from guard on top but Evreev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ruiz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Evreev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Evreev looks to clinch and Ruiz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Evreev wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ruiz winds up and cracks Evreev with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ruiz prevents Evreev from improving his position. Ruiz is nestled in close to Evreev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Evreev trying to hold on to Ruiz's head to control him but Ruiz postures up.
Ruiz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ruiz scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ruiz is trying for a kimura here. Evreev looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Ruiz wins by kimura!
