Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grant Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brophy comes to the cage accompanied by LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out. Morrow has chosen Straylight Run - Hands In The Sky as his entrance music. Grant Brophy had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow misses with a few strikes there.

Brophy throws a jab when Morrow was well out of range.
Morrow shoots in for a takedown but Brophy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Morrow fails to land with a series of punches.

Brophy jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Morrow is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Morrow and Brophy has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Brophy shoots for a takedown but Morrow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Morrow crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brophy - the referee stops the clock and Morrow gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brophy. Morrow manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Morrow throws a nice looking combination but Brophy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brophy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Morrow has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
