Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitoshi Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matsumoto has chosen Otep - Blood Pigs as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hitoshi Matsumoto!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks for a takedown but Matsumoto sprawls well.
Matsumoto tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Jones slips a jab from Matsumoto.
Matsumoto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Matsumoto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Matsumoto fights it but they end up in guard.
Matsumoto tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Matsumoto throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
