Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Perry Cox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Collins! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurstr�m, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collins misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cox shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Collins sprawls well. Collins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cox gets slowly back to his feet. Collins misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Collins throws a series of punches but Cox moves out of range. Collins swats away the attempt to clinch by Cox. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Collins misses with the combination.

Cox closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Collins has one of Cox's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Collins prevents Cox from improving position. Collins is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Collins can't do much from the bottom here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Collins is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Cox working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Cox is breathing heavily. Cox tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Cox creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Collins is pushing Cox's head away, looking to escape. Cox manages to hold on to the position though. Collins is looking to regain half guard here but Cox keeps moving and retains side control.

Collins is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Cox fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Collins tries to improve position but can't. Collins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Collins dodges the ground and pound from Cox. Cox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Collins takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Collins tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Collins avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cox. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Collins can do anything to dispel that myth. Cox tries to score with some ground and pound. Collins controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Cox is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Collins has escaped the position, nice work there. I wouldn't like to be where Collins is right now. Cox misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Collins is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cox is controlling him well. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

and Collins counters with a three punch combo that has Cox backing up. Cox nods at Collins to acknowledge the strikes. Collins scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Cox counters with a shoot takedown. Collins fights it but they end up in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cox throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Collins swivels though and keeps the full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Cox is fighting to break Collins's control of his arms but Collins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Cox looking to pass the guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cox throws and elbow that misses. Collins uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cox's guard. Nice move by Collins! Collins trying to control but Cox is working from the bottom. Collins would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Cox counters with a shoot takedown. Collins fights it but they end up in guard. Cox lands a couple of digs. Cox preventing the sweep.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Collins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cox swivels and escapes. Collins fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cox on the side of the head. Collins throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Cox to counter with a crisp jab. Cox shoots in for a double leg but Collins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A left and a right from Collins both land. Nice combination. Collins misses with a combination
and Cox counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Collins has hold of Cox's hands but Cox slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Cox not landing any meaningful shots this time. Collins tries to roll over but Cox keeps him under control. Collins has his hands clasped together around Cox's back. He's all about the action.
Cox is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Collins has managed to free his arm - good work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cox wants to pass to mount but Collins is defending the position. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

and Cox decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Collins's guard. Collins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cox is controlling him. Cox throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Collins works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Collins has Cox pulled in close to control his posture. Cox throws a strike but Collins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cox will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Collins stands up and waves to Cox to follow him. Collins lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Collins. Collins misses with a wild combination.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cox dives in and grabs Collins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Collins pushes down on Cox's head and hops out. Collins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cox. Collins buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cox takes a body punch but keeps moving. Collins dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cox is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Collins.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Collins throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Some wild striking there from Collins.

and Collins counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cox has Collins pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Collins manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Perry Cox. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Collins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cox's waist but Cox gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Collins off to one side. Michael Collins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cox tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Collins paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Collins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Cox has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
