Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pashtet Valerich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Peevor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pashtet Valerich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Connor Peevor! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valerich tries to clinch but Peevor is having none of it. Valerich gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Peevor to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peevor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Valerich on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Valerich tries to get out of the position. Peevor passes Valerich's left leg - he's now in half guard. Valerich moves into full guard.
Valerich avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Valerich pulls Peevor in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peevor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Valerich is keeping the position for now. Peevor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Peevor advances to half guard. Valerich wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Peevor trying to control the action but Valerich is working from the bottom. Peevor decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Peevor looks gassed! Valerich has his takedown stuffed and Peevor counters with a nice body shot. Peevor has his takedown stuffed and Valerich decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Peevor's guard. Valerich postures up and lands a big shot to Peevor's brow.

Valerich loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Valerich slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Valerich trying to control but Peevor is working from the bottom. Peevor throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Peevor can't keep his opponent in guard - Valerich advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Valerich is trying to control the action in half guard but Peevor is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Valerich tries to pass the half guard into mount. Peevor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Valerich wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peevor keeps working. Peevor tries to roll over but Valerich keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Valerich gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Peevor counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Valerich! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Connor Peevor dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Peevor fails with a takedown attempt. Connor Peevor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valerich moves into the clinch. Valerich content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Peevor tries to kick Valerich off but Valerich keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Peevor wants to control but Valerich is keeping busy and won't allow it. Valerich controlling the pace. Valerich wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peevor keeps working. Nice strikes from Valerich there.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Valerich tried to score with a low kick but Peevor checks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Valerich fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Peevor sprawls well initially but Valerich persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Valerich trying to control from half guard but Peevor is working away. Valerich is figuring out what he wants to do next. Peevor is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peevor on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Peevor taking some punishment here, with Valerich in his half guard. Peevor wants to get back to his feet. Peevor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Valerich missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Peevor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Valerich is working away from the top position though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Valerich closes the distance but Peevor moves to the side and Peevor counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Valerich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peevor's waist but Peevor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Valerich off to one side. Valerich tries to clinch but Peevor is having none of it. Peevor tries to clinch up. Peevor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Valerich paws at him with a jab and circles away. Peevor misses with a body shot
and Valerich counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Valerich. Peevor keeping moving, preventing Valerich from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pashtet Valerich dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
