Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Vronsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Ivan Escalante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pedro Ivan Escalante told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vronsky lands the left hand.
Escalante throws a body kick that misses.

Vronsky drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Escalante is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vronsky is controlling him.
Vronsky postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Vronsky slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Vronsky scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Escalante to see if he's OK.
Vronsky lands a few punches from side control.
Escalante really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vronsky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vronsky crunches a massive hammerfist down on Escalante - he's out! Vronsky Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
