Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Webcke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis comes to the cage accompanied by Applejuice by Taintstick. Jason Ellis has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Webcke! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Webcke misses with a hook. Ellis ducked under it nicely. Webcke avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ellis throws a good cross that connects.
A telegraphed right hand from Webcke misses the target. Ellis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Webcke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ellis sees it coming and avoids it easily. A punch combination from Webcke misses. Webcke scores with a takedown into Ellis's guard. Webcke missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ellis is pulling down on Webcke's head to control his posture. Webcke throws and elbow that misses. Ellis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Webcke's guard. Nice move by Ellis! Webcke looking for a sweep. Not yet Webcke, not yet. Ellis postures up in Webcke's guard and throws a big left but Webcke blocks it. Ellis working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Webcke looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ellis is one step ahead there. Webcke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ellis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Webcke works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ellis with a nice head shot there. Ellis landing with the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ellis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Webcke controls Ellis momentarily but Ellis frees himself. Ellis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ellis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Webcke avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ellis working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Ellis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Ellis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ellis postures up in Webcke's guard and throws a big left but Webcke blocks it. Ellis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ellis stands up over Webcke, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ellis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Webcke utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Ellis dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Webcke staying out of range there. Webcke moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Webcke gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Webcke is trying to keep Ellis in close.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ellis thows a big elbow that misses. Webcke wants to sweep but no luck. Webcke scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Ellis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ellis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Webcke walks into a straight right hand from Ellis. A jab from Ellis misses. Webcke throws a jab when Ellis was well out of range. Ellis just misses with a punch to the body.

Jason Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Webcke throws a shot from downtown. Ellis moves away and avoids it. Webcke looks to land a right hand but Ellis moved out of range. Webcke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ellis was well out of range. Poor timing from Webcke. Webcke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ellis sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Webcke ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Webcke drives through with a takedown into guard. Webcke throws a big right hand that misses. Webcke throws and elbow that misses. Ellis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Webcke's guard. Nice move by Ellis! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Webcke utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ellis preventing the sweep. Webcke is controlling Ellis's posture. Webcke controls Ellis momentarily but Ellis frees himself. Ellis trying to control but Webcke is working from the bottom. Ellis postures up in Webcke's guard and throws a big left but Webcke blocks it. Webcke tries to land a sweep but no joy. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ellis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ellis looking to pass the guard. Webcke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ellis takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Ellis takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Webcke lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ellis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ellis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Ellis slips under a jab from Webcke. Webcke scores with a jab. Ellis acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Ellis on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ellis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Webcke to score an easy takedown into full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Webcke trying to control but Ellis is working from the bottom. Ellis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Webcke.
And that's the end of the fight! Shane Webcke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Webcke has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
