Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tank Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Smack my bitch up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tank Hammer! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin takes a swing at Hammer's ribcage but misses. Hammer rushes Griffin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Griffin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hammer keeps the fight on the outside. Griffin ducks under a wild hook from Hammer. Hammer with a body punch. A glancing blow. Griffin misses with a wild combination.
Griffin misses with a few strikes there.
Griffin looks to land a combination. Hammer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Griffin misses with a body shot
letting Hammer counter with a right hand.
It looks like Peter Griffin has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Griffin takes a swing at Hammer's ribcage but misses. Griffin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hammer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Peter Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Griffin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hammer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Griffin in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Griffin in side control lands a decent elbow. Hammer managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Griffin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Griffin. Griffin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Griffin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hammer keeps working. Griffin takes a little break here. Hammer wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Griffin working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hammer throws a nice inside leg kick. Hammer's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hammer duly obliges. Griffin looks to score with a jab to the body but Hammer is just out of range. Griffin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hammer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Griffin looks to land a left hand but Hammer moved out of range nicely. Griffin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Griffin walks into a left hand. Hammer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Griffin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hammer.
Griffin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Griffin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Griffin is breathing heavily. Griffin swings for the body but Hammer moves out of range.
Griffin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hammer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hammer lands a jab to the head.
Hammer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Griffin. Griffin ducks right into an uppercut from Hammer.
Peter Griffin's cut is getting worse.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Griffin misses with a wild combination.
Hammer connects with a looping right hand.
Griffin looks to throw the jab but Hammer is out of range. Griffin ducks right into an uppercut from Hammer. Hammer lands a nice shot that snaps Griffin's head back.
Peter Griffin's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Hammer scores with a nice strike. The fight stays on the outside here - Hammer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hammer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hammer lands a jab to the nose.
Jeez, Peter Griffin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Tank Hammer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This has been an exciting period of action! Hammer lands with an overhand left.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Peter Griffin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
