Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Janicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sackit Rood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackit Rood is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephen Janicki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sackit Rood! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Janicki is looking to clinch. Janicki lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rood feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Janicki sprawling to the canvas! Janicki rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rood finish him?!
Janicki is rocked!
It looks like Stephen Janicki has been cut. Janicki throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Oh Janicki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rood swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Janicki counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rood's guard now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rood thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Janicki trying to control the position from guard on top but Rood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rood manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Janicki manages to get himself to full guard.
Rood tries to free his leg and advance position but Janicki is retaining full guard. Rood makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Rood not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Janicki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rood is one step ahead there. Rood content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rood postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rood stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Janicki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rood is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rood postures up.
Janicki tries to land a sweep but no joy. Janicki keeping full guard, as Rood tries to pass. Rood lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Janicki is trying to keep Rood in close.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rood fails to land with a series of punches.
Rood circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rood will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rood looks gassed! Rood lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Janicki falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
