Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lesnar Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greco comes into the arena with this is what will happen to you blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ad's choice of entrance music: Pow!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greco shoots in and gets a takedown into Ad's guard. Greco lands a couple of digs. Ad looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Greco has picked Ad up and slammed him! Ad can't keep hold of the triangle and Greco manages to pass to side control! Greco wants to control but Ad is keeping him busy. Greco in side control, throwing shots but Ad defends. Ad tries to get back to half guard but can't. Greco controlling the position. Greco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ad keeps working. Greco working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greco working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ground and pound from Greco seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Greco is looking to take a break and control but Ad is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ad manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Ad is pressing down on Greco's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ad is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ad preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Greco controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Greco has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ad keeping moving, preventing Greco from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ad wants to sweep but no luck. Greco lands a couple of digs. Ad being controlled here, momentarily. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Greco content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Greco works a leg free and moves into half guard. Greco wants to pass the guard but Ad is defending well. Ad makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ad. Ad has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Greco is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ad is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Greco looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Greco trying to control the position but Ad is working away. Greco creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Greco is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ad's shoulder. That is not cool. Ad is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Greco's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Ad wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Greco is figuring out what he wants to do next. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Greco connects with a nice short shot to Ad's temple. Greco is taking a breather. Ad says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Greco seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ad does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Greco keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lesnar Greco just wasn't active enough. Greco throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ad was covering up waiting for the punch and Greco finishes the takedown easily into guard. Greco lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lesnar Greco dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ad misses with a head kick.

Greco punishes Ad's body with a nice straight punch. Greco shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ad manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Greco loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ad has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Greco is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Ad tries to get back to half guard but can't. Greco is trying to get an arm triangle but Ad is defending well. Greco cracks Ad with a big right hand but Ad just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Greco scoring with punches and elbows. Greco is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ad's shoulder. That is not cool. Greco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ad keeps working. Ad gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Greco looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ad taking some punishment here, with Greco in his half guard. Ad keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Greco performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Greco's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

and Greco counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Greco trying to control the position from guard on top but Ad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar Greco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ad is looking for a triangle but Greco pushes his legs off easily.
Ad has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Greco controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ad is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Lesnar Greco dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Ad connects with a high kick. Greco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ad circles away. Greco lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ad throws the kick towards the body but Greco avoids it. Ad pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ad misses with an attempted mid kick.
Greco smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Greco throws a leg kick that is checked and Ad counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Greco is lucky that one didn't land flush. Greco avoids the head kick by Ad.
Greco is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ad sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ad throws a head kick but Greco moves out of range.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ad. Greco gets a takedown into half guard. Ad is looking for a sweep. Greco is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
