Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Pardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davis Paul Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Pardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Davis Paul Marcus!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Pardo throws a front kick that sends Marcus stumbling back into the cage.
Marcus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pardo cracks Marcus with an open hand slap.
Pardo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marcus moves away.
Pardo thumps Marcus with a low kick.
Pardo misses with a wild body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pardo, right into the meat.
Pardo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice body kick there by Pardo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A low kick from Marcus is predictable there
and Pardo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Marcus looks gassed!
Pardo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Marcus's sensitive parts.
Pardo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Pardo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Marcus takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Pardo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Pardo punishes Marcus's body with a nice straight punch.

Pardo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marcus. That did some damage!
Marcus avoids the head kick by Pardo.
Pardo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Marcus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pardo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A left and a right from Pardo both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Davis Paul Marcus has been cut.
Pardo cracks Marcus with a good jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pardo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marcus has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Crunch! Pardo slams his shin into Marcus's torso.
Pardo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marcus. That did some damage!
Paul Pardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Marcus might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Pardo has got the better of the exchanges.
Marcus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Pardo lands a nice hook to Marcus's body. Marcus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Davis Paul Marcus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pardo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pardo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pardo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Pardo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pardo scores with a one two! Marcus had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Pardo counters with a good, hard body kick but Marcus shrugs it off.

Nice straight punches there by Pardo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pardo.

Pardo feints and then cracks Marcus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marcus down.
Pardo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Marcus takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Davis Paul Marcus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Marcus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pardo can pounce on him.
