Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Wright!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Travis Riley!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Riley moves away.
Riley throws an overhand right that lands on Wright's shoulder, as Wright tries to avoid the shot.
Good exchange - Wright coming out on top.
Riley tries to clinch but Wright is having none of it.
Riley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wright.
Wright throws a shot from downtown. Riley moves away and avoids it.
Riley lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Riley connects with an inside leg kick.
Wright cracks Riley with a right hand to the side of the head.
Riley throws a body punch but Wright moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Wright or perhaps it was just good defense by Riley which made him look bad.
Riley ducks under a wild hook from Wright.
Riley throws a hook but Wright blocks it.
Riley throws a front kick aimed at Wright's knee but Wright avoids it well.
Wright takes one on the button.
Riley connects with a nice looking jab.
Wright uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Riley.
Riley is looking to score with low kicks.
Riley connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Riley lands a head shot.
Wright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wright on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A nice leg kick lands there from Riley.
Riley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wright takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jab, jab by Riley - just one landing.
Wright lunges at Riley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Riley's hand.
Riley throws a shot from downtown. Wright moves away and avoids it.
Riley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wright.

Riley darts in and clinches Wright up against the ropes.
Riley blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Wright fails to land.
Riley is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Riley has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wright avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Riley lands a nice uppercut.
Wright blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Riley has picked Wright up - he's going for a ride! Riley dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Wright wants to improve his position but Riley is controlling well.
Riley drops an elbow to the side of Wright's head.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Riley works his way into full mount!
Riley lands a nice shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wright wants to control but Riley is having none of it.
Riley misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Wright sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Wright keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Wright is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Riley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Riley's back!
Riley just trying to survive but Wright is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Riley is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Wright is staying active.
Riley wants to get back to his feet.
Riley trying to control the action but Wright just sinks the hooks in.

Riley controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Riley surviving as best he can, preventing damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Riley trying to control but not successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wright somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Wright is not going to allow Riley to sit and survive in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Travis Riley dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Riley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Riley lands in his opponent's guard.
Riley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Riley makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Wright wants to sweep but no luck.
Riley pushes down on Wright's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Riley wants to pass the guard but Wright is defending well.
Riley works his way into full mount!

Riley throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Riley unloads with some shots from mount but Wright bucks and avoids them well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wright is rocked!
Riley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Riley lands a nice shot to the head.
Wright can't escape the position.
Wright wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wright tries to hold on but Riley postures up.
Riley lands with some strikes.
Riley throwing strikes here but Wright is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Wright is in a horrible position here. Riley smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Riley cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Riley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Wright is wriggling around trying to escape.
Riley lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

A nice elbow there by Riley.
Wright is bucking up trying to escape but Riley cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Riley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Riley unloads with some shots from mount but Wright bucks and avoids them well.

Oh Wright is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
