Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Amarie STAT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo furdyc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
STAT tries to close the distance and clinch but furdyc swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
STAT closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming furdyc to the mat! furdyc manages to get full guard.
furdyc is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst STAT is controlling him.
STAT wants to control from the top but furdyc keeps moving.
STAT would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
furdyc wants to control but STAT passes easily into half guard.
STAT content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

STAT working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
STAT is looking to take a break and control but furdyc is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

STAT misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
STAT is breathing heavily.
STAT throws a wild body kick that furdyc sees coming a mile off.
furdyc doesn't succeed with the takedown
and STAT counters with a nice double leg into side control. furdyc won't be happy with that.
STAT goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, furdyc has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for STAT but great work by furdyc.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
furdyc shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has STAT pinned against the cage. STAT gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

furdyc remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

furdyc changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. STAT tries to avoid it but furdyc manages to keep hold of a leg and drag STAT to the ground. STAT escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A close second round but Ricardo furdyc will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now furdyc is on top in guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

furdyc jumps guard and drags STAT to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

furdyc bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in STAT's guard.
furdyc is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

I would just about give that final round to Ricardo furdyc.
