Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alphons Draclau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonio Ortega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortega has chosen Last Caress as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draclau tries a head kick but it misses.
Ortega slips under a jab.
Tonio Ortega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ortega throws a series of punches but Draclau moves out of range.
Draclau avoids a kick to the body.
Draclau closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ortega circles away.
Some bone on bone action there as Draclau checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Draclau misses the jab.
Ortega throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ortega darts in and clinches Draclau up against the cage.

Draclau ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Draclau no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Draclau is trying to control the position but Ortega postures up.
Ortega wants to get up but he can't break Draclau's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ortega gets to his feet. Draclau looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Draclau rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ortega moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ortega checks the leg kick.

Ortega is looking to clinch.
Draclau throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ortega sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ortega slips a jab from Draclau.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ortega.
Draclau looks to score with a jab to the body but Ortega is just out of range.
Draclau throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Ortega finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

and Ortega counters with a good, hard body kick but Draclau shrugs it off.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ortega.
Ortega bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Draclau's head.

Ortega gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ortega is looking to stand up but Draclau isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Alphons Draclau has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ortega swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

A lazy body kick from Draclau
and Ortega counters with a good low kick that Draclau was not able to check.
Ortega pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ortega takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Tonio Ortega has been cut.
Ortega feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Draclau's calf.
Draclau blocks a head kick by Ortega.
Ortega misses the shot to the body.
Draclau tries to close the distance and clinch but Ortega swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Alphons Draclau will probably get the nod.
