Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Zukerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lito Lapid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Zukerman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zukerman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Zukerman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zukerman showed some decent athleticism there.
Lapid avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Zukerman.

Zukerman trying to work for an americana but Lapid has managed to regain full guard.

Lapid lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zukerman!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Zukerman is looking to improve his position but Lapid isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lapid tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Zukerman tries to hold on but Lapid postures up.
Zukerman is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Zukerman tries to improve his position but instead Lapid has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Lapid controlling the positon.
Let's hope that Lapid has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A close round but Lito Lapid will probably get the nod.

Zukerman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lapid swivels and escapes.
Lapid fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Lapid works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like David Zukerman has been cut.

Lapid sends Zukerman crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lapid is motioning to the referee to let Zukerman up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Zukerman is rocked!
Lapid closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Zukerman out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
