The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valutchko tries for a takedown but Masoe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A clash of legs there as Valutchko blocks the low kick.
Valutchko throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Masoe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Masoe pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Masoe moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Masoe scores with a leg kick.
Valutchko looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Masoe misses the shot to the body.
Valutchko lunges at Masoe with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Masoe's hand.
Masoe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Valutchko has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Masoe steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Valutchko is out on his feet! Masoe sets himself and nearly takes Valutchko's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
