Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker tries to land a front kick but Lasher steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lasher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walker sprawls well. Walker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lasher gets slowly back to his feet.

Walker tries to score with a low kick but Lasher moves his leg out of the way.

Lasher fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walker manages to avoid it.
Lasher shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Walker counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lasher's knee momentarily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walker can do anything to dispel that myth.
