Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Cant be touched. Orton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rev Theory - Hell Yeah. Randy Orton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leo Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Randy Orton!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Orton throws a head kick that misses.

Anderson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Orton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anderson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Anderson manages to break the clinch.
Leo Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson connects with a high kick.
Anderson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Anderson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Orton, pushing him back against the cage.

Anderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Orton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Orton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Leo Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Orton.
Anderson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Orton.

Anderson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Orton, pushing him back against the cage.

Orton lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Orton is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Anderson gets full guard.
Orton wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.
Orton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anderson's guard.
Orton looks gassed!

Orton is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson works his way to full guard. Good work.
Orton trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
Anderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Orton on the ground.

Anderson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Anderson keeping moving, preventing Orton from controlling successfully.
Anderson pulls Orton in to control the position.
Orton looking to sit in guard and control but Anderson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Anderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Orton is retaining full guard.

Orton has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Anderson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Anderson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Anderson!
Anderson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Orton counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Anderson!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Orton looking to control but Anderson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Orton cracks Anderson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Orton looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Orton is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Anderson is surviving well by controlling Orton's body position as best he can.
Anderson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Anderson tries to get out of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Orton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anderson is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Orton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Orton holds on and takes a little breather.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Anderson wanted to stand there but Orton had control of the position.

Anderson trying to move into half guard but instead Orton has managed to sweep!
Orton won't allow Anderson to sweep him here.

Orton is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Anderson controls Orton momentarily but Orton frees himself.
Orton controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Orton looking to pass the guard.
Orton passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.

Orton is trying to work for a kimura but Anderson is defending well.
Anderson is looking for a sweep. Orton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Orton is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Orton thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Orton lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Orton works his way into full mount!
Orton scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Anderson tries to lock up and control but Orton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Orton looking to control but Anderson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson tries to hold on but Orton postures up.
Anderson is trying desperately to improve position.
Orton looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Orton raining down shots from the mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy Orton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Orton doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Anderson counters with a series of strikes. Orton will be more careful next time no doubt.
Orton shoots for a takedown but Anderson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Orton lunges at Anderson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Anderson's hand.

Anderson forces Orton back against the cage and clinches.

Anderson breaks from the clinch.
Both fighters circling a little - Anderson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Leo Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A right-left combo lands from Anderson.
Orton keeps the fight on the outside.
Orton lands a head kick. Anderson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Anderson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Orton napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Anderson decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Orton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Orton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anderson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Anderson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Orton is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Orton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Orton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Anderson can't do much from the bottom here.

Orton tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Randy Orton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Orton has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
