Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baltazar Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Born To Win as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baltazar Ramos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ramos drops an elbow to the side of Gracie's head.


That has opened up Ryan Gracie's cut even more.

Gracie looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Gracie on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Ramos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ramos is looking to advance position but Gracie won't allow it.
Ramos controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ramos connects with a nice short shot to Gracie's temple.
Ramos scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Ramos stalling.
Gracie is trying to stand up here but Ramos is controlling him well.
Gracie looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ramos is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Nice strikes from Ramos there.


Ryan Gracie's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Ramos stops Gracie from getting back to his feet.
Ramos is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer.
Ramos is nestled in close to Gracie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ramos is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramos is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gracie has momentary wrist control but Ramos slips an elbow through the middle.

Ramos drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ramos seems to have locked his on tight now - Gracie screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ramos, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Baltazar Ramos!
