Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasha Dasari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez comes to the ring accompanied by Cypress Hill - Tequila Sunrise. Dasari is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Stinkfist. Jesus Sanchez is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jesus Sanchez! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pasha Dasari! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dasari will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dasari is defended easily by Sanchez. Sanchez stuffs the takedown. Jesus Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pasha Dasari. Dasari shoots in but Sanchez avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dasari shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sanchez as he avoids it easily. Dasari fails with a takedown attempt. Dasari looks gassed! Nice takedown defense from Sanchez. No joy for Dasari on that attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sanchez showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Dasari keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sanchez lands a nice short elbow. Sanchez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sanchez looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sanchez connects with a nice short shot to Dasari's temple. Sanchez slows the pace down in half guard. Sanchez thows a huge punch but Dasari dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dasari wants to control but Sanchez is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sanchez wants to take a breather but Dasari is having none of it. Sanchez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sanchez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dasari's head. Sanchez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sanchez passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dasari! Dasari is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanchez has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez unloading with bombs!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sanchez goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dasari turns into him and now he's in Sanchez's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanchez looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dasari passes into half guard.
Dasari is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Sanchez actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesus Sanchez dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sanchez tries to clinch up but Dasari circles away and keeps his distance. Dasari tries for a takedown but Sanchez circles away easily and Sanchez counters by clinching up. Sanchez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dasari is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sanchez to the mat. Sanchez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Sanchez is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dasari rolls with it to try and escape but Sanchez cranks on the arm and Dasari is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jesus Sanchez! Jesus Sanchez retains his featherweight title!
