The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Aldo doesn't manage to clinch there - Jiu Jitsu circles away.
Aldo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Aldo scores with a head kick.
Aldo throws a right hand that Jiu Jitsu ducks under and follows up with a left that Jiu Jitsu also avoids with ease.
Aldo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jiu Jitsu if he has to take too many more of those.
Aldo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jiu Jitsu.
A combination from Aldo does no damage.
Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jiu Jitsu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jiu Jitsu is pushing down on Aldo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Aldo is fighting to maintain full guard but Jiu Jitsu has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jiu Jitsu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Aldo sees it coming and defends easily.
Jiu Jitsu is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Aldo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
