PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Zarch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes to the cage accompanied by Kid Rock - American Badass. Chris Zarch is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrick Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Zarch!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarch shoots in looking for a takedown but Robinson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zarch's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Robinson moves into the clinch.
Robinson is working for takedown but Zarch is calmly controlling the position for now.
A frustrated look appears on Robinson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Robinson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zarch clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Zarch tries to escape but Robinson has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Zarch is trying to get back to his feet but Robinson has full control of the position and if anything, Zarch has just worked his way into a worse spot.

I really don't envy Zarch right now.

Robinson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Robinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Robinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zarch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robinson has managed to get both his arms back between Zarch's legs - danger averted.

Robinson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Zarch tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Robinson is in Zarch's guard.

Robinson is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Zarch is forced to tap! Great finish!
