Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atsushi Sawada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atsushi Sawada has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gabriel Flores!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Atsushi Sawada!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sawada is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sawada staying out of range there.
Flores misses with a series of wild punches.
Flores throws a nice looking combination but Sawada bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Flores throws a looping overhand right but Sawada ducks down to avoid it.
Sawada swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Flores counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Atsushi Sawada has been cut.
Flores doesn't manage to clinch there - Sawada circles away.
Flores lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sawada circles away quickly and effectively.

Sawada shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sawada showed some decent athleticism there.
Flores manages to get to full guard.

Flores wriggles free and stands up.
Sawada circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Flores tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sawada swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Flores gets a clinch.

Sawada pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Flores misses.

Sawada closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sawada looks gassed!
Flores moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Flores manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Flores scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Flores will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Flores postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sawada looks a forlorn figure.

Flores wants to finish this one by submission but Sawada is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Flores.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Flores looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Sawada is in a horrible position here. Flores smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Flores has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sawada's face.

That has opened up Atsushi Sawada's cut even more.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Flores trying to control but Sawada is having none of it.

Flores landing strikes, looking to finish!

Atsushi Sawada's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Atsushi Sawada's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
