Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Ovrut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Langston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Langston!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Langston.
Langston displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ovrut throws out the jab.
Ovrut throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Langston sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A punch combination from Langston misses.
Langston uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ovrut.

Langston throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Langston lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ovrut's sensitive parts.
Ovrut chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Langston can pounce on him.

Ovrut avoids a punch combination nicely.

Langston throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Joe Langston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Langston, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Langston fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Langston looks to land a combination but Ovrut avoids it well.
Ovrut chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Langston can pounce on him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Langston throws a good cross that connects.
Ovrut doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Ovrut misses with a hook. Langston ducked under it nicely.
Langston lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Ovrut can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Langston and Ovrut drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Langston.
