Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Mistry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mistry is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hurt. Chris Punch has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Punch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kieran Mistry! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punch wants to clinch. Mistry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mistry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Punch but Punch pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mistry shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chris Punch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kieran Mistry. Punch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mistry is not content to let Punch control the position. Mistry throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Punch looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Punch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mistry on the ground. Punch landing a few strikes. Punch is chipping away with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mistry manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Mistry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mistry throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Punch looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Mistry sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. That's two minutes gone in the round. Mistry content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mistry is looking to work some ground and pound but Punch has wrist control. Punch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mistry is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Punch is controlling Mistry's posture. Punch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Punch tries to get out of the position. Mistry stops Punch from standing up. Mistry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Punch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mistry won't allow Punch to get back to his feet. Mistry distracts Punch with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Punch has momentary wrist control but Mistry slips an elbow through the middle. Mistry in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mistry loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Mistry thows a big elbow that misses. Mistry throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Punch works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mistry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Punch is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mistry is controlling him. Punch pushes Mistry off and gets back to his feet.
Mistry throws a leg kick but Punch sees it coming and moves out of range. Mistry scores a takedown into full mount! Punch tries to lock up and control but Mistry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Punch is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mistry is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mistry has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Punch's face.
Poor strikes thrown by Mistry there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Punch tries to get back to half guard but can't. Punch sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Mistry tries to pass to full mount but Punch defends it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mistry thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Punch's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Punch pulls Mistry in close to prevent any damage.

Mistry is looking to work some ground and pound but Punch has wrist control. Mistry with a flurry of punches that miss. Kieran Mistry has got the better of the ground game so far. Punch wants to stand up but Mistry is controlling him. Mistry postures up in Punch's guard and throws a big left but Punch blocks it. Mistry connects with a couple of short punches. Punch wants to get back to his feet but Mistry is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Punch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Punch is looking to take a break and control but Mistry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mistry lands with a few short shots to the body. A close second round but Kieran Mistry will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Mistry has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Punch has passed into side control.

Punch thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Punch stands up and beckons Mistry to his feet. Chris Punch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Punch throws a wild body kick that Mistry sees coming a mile off. Punch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kieran Mistry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mistry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mistry lands in his opponent's guard. Mistry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Punch looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Punch showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mistry has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
