Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jebediah Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Barhydt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed comes to the cage accompanied by Eighties. Barhydt has chosen Black and Yellow as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed punishes Barhydt's body with a nice straight punch.
Barhydt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Reed keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Donk. Reed catches Barhydt right on the button with a cross.
Reed smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Reed just misses with a punch to the body.
Barhydt throws a sloppy head kick and Reed moves out of range easily.
Barhydt on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Reed digs a good body shot into Barhydt's ribs.
Barhydt defending well as Reed loads up on a big left hand.
Reed will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Reed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Reed connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Reed looks to land a right hand but Barhydt moved out of range.
Reed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Reed scores with a hook to the body. Barhydt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Barhydt pushes Reed away with a front kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Barhydt looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Barhydt tries to hold on but Reed postures up.
Barhydt really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Barhydt tries to lock up and control but Reed gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Reed looking to finish Barhydt with some ground and pound. This is bad for Barhydt!
Barhydt is bucking up trying to escape but Reed cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Reed has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Reed raining down hammerfists from mount.
BOOM! Reed connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Reed breaks from Barhydt's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Reed postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Barhydt in real trouble here! The ref calls for Barhydt to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
