The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swistopliasov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Swistopliasov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cain.

Cain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cain wants it to stay on the feet.
Cain throws the left hand but Swistopliasov avoids the punch easily.

Cain throws a hook to the side of Swistopliasov's head but Swistopliasov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Cain throws an overhand right that lands on Swistopliasov's shoulder, as Swistopliasov tries to avoid the shot.

Cain defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Swistopliasov.

Swistopliasov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cain sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Swistopliasov shoots in looking for a takedown. Cain tries to sprawl out of it but Swistopliasov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cain keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Papos Cain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cain tries to roll over but Swistopliasov keeps him under control.
Swistopliasov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cain is just riding it out for now. Swistopliasov eventually gives up the hold.
Swistopliasov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cain has managed to free his arm - good work.

Swistopliasov stops Cain from getting back to his feet.
Cain is trying to control but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cain is in trouble now - Swistopliasov has advanced to mount!
Swistopliasov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Cain tries to lock up and control but Swistopliasov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cain keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Swistopliasov wants to finish this one by submission but Cain is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Swistopliasov.
Swistopliasov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Swistopliasov working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Cain looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Swistopliasov! Submission of the night perhaps?
