The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evangelista shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Evangelista tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Woodward was well out of range. Poor timing from Evangelista.
Woodward uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Evangelista.

Woodward breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Evangelista looks to land a right hand but Woodward moved out of range.
Evangelista throws a jab but it's blocked by Woodward.

and Woodward counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
