Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cesare Batisti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cesare Batisti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan St Pierre! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Pierre closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Batisti trying to control from the bottom.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
St Pierre prevents Batisti from improving his position. St Pierre takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. St Pierre not doing much here.
Batisti is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batisti wants to control but St Pierre is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Batisti showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from St Pierre.
Batisti is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Batisti misses with a takedown attempt and St Pierre counters with a nice double leg into side control. Batisti won't be happy with that. St Pierre cracks Batisti with a big right hand but Batisti just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Batisti is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on St Pierre's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with St Pierre in particular looking to stall. Batisti trying to control from the bottom.
St Pierre looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Batisti wants to get back to full guard.

Batisti jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as St Pierre walks away with a smile on his face. Batisti gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. St Pierre dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Batisti really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Batisti looks to land a combination but St Pierre avoids it well. Batisti is breathing heavily. St Pierre scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. St Pierre looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with St Pierre in particular looking to stall. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

St Pierre closes the distance and clinches. Batisti trying to control the position but instead, St Pierre has worked for underhooks and has pushed Batisti into the cage. Batisti has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. St Pierre avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Batisti drops to a knee looking for a takedown but St Pierre gets the underhooks and prevents it.
St Pierre lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Batisti prevents St Pierre from breaking the clinch. Batisti tries to break the clinch but St Pierre is controlling the position. St Pierre jumps guard and drags Batisti to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. St Pierre is controlling Batisti's posture. Batisti wants to control from the top but St Pierre keeps moving. St Pierre trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Dan St Pierre has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. St Pierre misses with an uppercut. Batisti saw that one coming. Batisti fails with the takedown and St Pierre counters with a shoot takedown. Batisti fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cesare Batisti. That's going to take a lot out of him. St Pierre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. St Pierre thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. St Pierre is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Batisti will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. St Pierre not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. St Pierre is working Batisti over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. St Pierre trying to control the position from guard on top but Batisti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. St Pierre is taking a break and basically stalling. St Pierre decides to return to a standing position. Batisti tries to sprawl but St Pierre drives through with a takedown into half guard. St Pierre is pressing down on Batisti's thigh, looking to free his foot. Batisti is holding on for now. Batisti wants to improve his position but St Pierre is controlling well.

Dan St Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

St Pierre closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - St Pierre lands in his opponent's guard. St Pierre trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. St Pierre trying to control but Batisti is working from the bottom. Batisti avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. St Pierre controlling from the top position. Batisti is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Cesare Batisti has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. St Pierre will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
St Pierre takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Batisti gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so St Pierre counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. St Pierre is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. St Pierre's corner is telling him to maintain position. Batisti wants to sweep here but St Pierre controlling him for the moment. St Pierre is stalling in the full guard.

St Pierre postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Batisti is looking for a triangle but St Pierre pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Batisti tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre is looking to work some ground and pound but Batisti has wrist control. St Pierre slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dan St Pierre hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. St Pierre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. St Pierre seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. St Pierre stands up from Batisti's guard - St Pierre perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. St Pierre looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Batisti! Batisti is trying desperately to improve position. St Pierre lands a heavy elbow. St Pierre is landing with some decent strikes but Batisti is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. St Pierre wants to finish this one by submission but Batisti is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from St Pierre. St Pierre prevents Batisti from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan St Pierre comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well St Pierre has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
