Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Puncharello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey De Andreas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Andreas has chosen Free Bird by Leonard Skynard as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Puncharello! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey De Andreas! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Andreas tries to clinch there but Puncharello circles away.
Don Puncharello seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Puncharello scores with a hook to the body. De Andreas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. De Andreas closes the distance and lands a one-two. De Andreas is looking to clinch. De Andreas avoids the head kick by Puncharello.
Puncharello connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between De Andreas's hands. Puncharello pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A big left from Puncharello misses. De Andreas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Puncharello but Puncharello pushes him off and we're back to square one. Don Puncharello has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey De Andreas. Puncharello cracks De Andreas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Puncharello connects with a leg kick. De Andreas looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Puncharello throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Puncharello just misses with a punch to the body.

De Andreas trying to control but Puncharello is working from the bottom. De Andreas prevents Puncharello from getting back to his feet.

De Andreas with a flurry of punches that miss. De Andreas is looking to work some ground and pound but Puncharello has wrist control. De Andreas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Puncharello manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now De Andreas has Puncharello in his guard. De Andreas wants to stand but Puncharello is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. De Andreas trying to control the position.

Puncharello misses the body punch and De Andreas counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. De Andreas needs to keep his hands up - Puncharello had a free shot at his head there. De Andreas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Puncharello. Puncharello connects with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Puncharello looks for the body kick but De Andreas saw that one coming. Puncharello lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Puncharello. Puncharello misses with a wild body shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. De Andreas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Puncharello.

Puncharello circles away from the clinch attempt and Puncharello counters with a big head kick but De Andreas shrugs it off. Puncharello throws a big shot that misses. De Andreas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Puncharello as he avoids it easily. Nice takedown defense from Puncharello. No joy for De Andreas on that attempt. De Andreas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. De Andreas throws a combination that misses and Puncharello counters with a nice body kick.

Puncharello's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Puncharello duly obliges. Puncharello swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Puncharello circles away from the clinch attempt and Puncharello counters with a nice leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! De Andreas tries to clinch but fails miserably and Puncharello counters with a lovely straight right hand! Puncharello misses with a shot to the body and De Andreas counters by clinching up. Puncharello breaks the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Puncharello bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Sloppy strikes from De Andreas. Those never looked like landing. Puncharello tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Puncharello connects with a crisp jab. Puncharello cracks De Andreas on the jaw with a powerful right hand and De Andreas falls backwards against the cage. Puncharello follows up with more strikes that drop De Andreas to his knees. Puncharello keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save De Andreas! This one is all over!
