Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flash Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kamel kemel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Flash Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
kemel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gordon is tying to control. kemel wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
kemel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gordon is keen to just control but kemel is a slippery customer.
kemel tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Gordon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and kemel defends it well.

Gordon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
kemel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gordon.
Gordon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gordon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gordon goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now kemel is on top in guard.

kemel looking to sit in guard and control but Gordon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gordon advances position into side control!
kemel takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

kemel tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gordon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on kemel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
kemel takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
kemel is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Gordon stands up and beckons kemel to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - kemel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
kemel doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gordon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in kemel's guard now.

kemel wants to get back to his feet but Gordon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gordon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
kemel is working an open guard so Gordon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
kemel tries to keep at a distance but Gordon has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gordon gets underhooks to prevent kemel's takedown attempt.

kemel is looking to work some ground and pound but Gordon has wrist control.

Gordon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. kemel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gordon had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. kemel is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gordon Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take kemel's back instead.
Gordon lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flash Gordon dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Gordon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gordon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gordon drops back looking for a leg! kemel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and kemel manages to kick Gordon off! Gordon jumps back into kemel's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gordon misses with a takedown
and kemel counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gordon's guard now.
Gordon looking for a triangle here. kemel is fighting it but it looks tight! Gordon pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, kemel is tapping out - this one is all over!
