Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jadimbu Muliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rollo Smek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muliva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, In Flames - The Quiet Place. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Muliva. No joy for Smek on that attempt.
Muliva's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Muliva duly obliges.
Smek moves into the clinch.
Smek lands a damaging elbow.
Muliva goes for a takedown attempt but Smek pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Smek scores with a nice strike.
Smek throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Muliva throws the left hand but Smek avoids the punch easily.
Muliva misses with a series of wild punches.
Muliva swats away the attempt to clinch by Smek.
Smek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muliva's waist but Muliva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smek off to one side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Muliva is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Smek has managed to free his arm - good work.
Muliva wants to take a breather but Smek is having none of it.
Muliva is really struggling to control Smek but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Muliva thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Muliva prevents Smek from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rollo Smek hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Smek working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Muliva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Muliva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Muliva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smek to the mat! Smek manages to get full guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Rollo Smek has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Smek tries to close the distance and clinch up but Muliva swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jadimbu Muliva will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Smek is looking to clinch but Muliva is avoiding it.

Muliva slaps away a takedown attempt from Smek, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Smek takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Smek leaves Muliva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Smek shoots in looking for a takedown. Muliva tries to sprawl out of it but Smek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Muliva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Smek slips under a jab.
Muliva takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Smek displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Muliva throws out the jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smek is defended easily by Muliva.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Smek wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Muliva.

Jadimbu Muliva overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Smek wants to control but Muliva is having none of it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Muliva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
