The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruppert shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turzynski but Turzynski pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ben Ruppert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turzynski scores with a kick to the body.
Ruppert scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ruppert throws a jab when Turzynski was well out of range.
Ruppert throws a sloppy head kick and Turzynski moves out of range easily.
Ruppert throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turzynski's waist but Turzynski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ruppert off to one side.
Ruppert shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turzynski but Turzynski pushes him off and we're back to square one.
