The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Withers checks a low kick from Baltimore.
Withers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Withers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Baltimore.
Withers throws a body punch but Baltimore moves out of range.
Baltimore tries to clinch but Withers moves out of range.
Baltimore misses with a wild combination.
Baltimore tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Withers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice takedown defense from Withers. No joy for Baltimore on that attempt.
Baltimore jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Baltimore doesn't manage to clinch there - Withers circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baltimore misses with a straight left.
Baltimore catches Withers with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Withers shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Baltimore manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Withers with a flurry of punches that miss.

Withers postures up in Baltimore's guard and throws a big left but Baltimore blocks it.
Baltimore looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Baltimore keeping full guard, as Withers tries to pass.
Withers throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Withers stopping the sweep attempt from Baltimore.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Withers slips nicely into half guard.
Withers trying to control from half guard but Baltimore is working away.
Withers working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Withers wants to free his trapped foot but Baltimore is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Withers looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Withers is trying to control the action in half guard but Baltimore is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Withers works his foot free and advances to mount.
Baltimore flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Withers with a couple of short strikes.
Withers pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
A big strike lands for Withers! That's really hurt Baltimore and he's turned his back - Withers keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Withers jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
