PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beautiful Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perry comes to the ring accompanied by Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boxer swivels and escapes.
Perry shoots in looking for a takedown. Boxer tries to sprawl out of it but Perry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Boxer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boxer misses with a wild body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Perry.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boxer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Boxer lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Boxer scores with a shot to the side of Perry's head.
Perry is breathing heavily.

Perry tries for a takedown. No joy.
Perry blocks an uppercut.

Boxer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Boxer throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Perrys head.
Boxer lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Perry backwards.
Boxer scores with a nice hook to the head.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Boxer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Perry is rocked!
Boxer lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Perry to his knees! Boxer keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
