Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zyki DusK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Higashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Higashi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zyki DusK! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Higashi! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Higashi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Higashi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. DusK is trying to stand back up but Higashi is controlling him
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Higashi connects with a nice short shot to DusK's temple.
It looks like Zyki DusK has been cut. DusK looks like he's trying to stand up.
Higashi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Higashi drops an elbow to the side of DusK's head. Higashi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Higashi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. DusK pushes Higashi off looking to stand but Higashi dives back in and keeps control.

DusK is rocked! Higashi controlling the pace. Oh DusK is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Higashi decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Higashi clinches up against the cage. Higashi jumps guard.
Higashi pulls DusK in close to his closed guard and prevents DusK from doing any damage or advancing position. Higashi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
A big strike lands for Higashi! That's really hurt DusK and he's turned his back - Higashi keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Higashi jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Higashi!
