Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Maryozep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hezo Krizto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Krizto misses.
Krizto defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Maryozep.
Krizto thows a body shot but no joy.
Hezo Krizto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krizto scores with a sloppy right hand. Maryozep should have avoided that one.
Krizto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maryozep paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Krizto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maryozep rushes Krizto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Krizto is looking to break free of the clinch but Maryozep has double underhooks.
Maryozep's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Maryozep jumps guard and drags Krizto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Maryozep holds on and takes a little breather.
Krizto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maryozep swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Maryozep lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Maryozep.
It looks like Hezo Krizto has been cut.
Krizto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maryozep sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Maryozep pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Maryozep throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Krizto slaps away a takedown attempt from Maryozep, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Krizto shoots in for a takedown but Maryozep shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Krizto leaves Maryozep with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maryozep uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Krizto.
Krizto loads up on a big right hand but Maryozep slips the punch.
Maryozep shoots for a double leg takedown but Krizto sprawls well. He's pushed Maryozep's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Maryozep lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Krizto is looking to slow Maryozep down with leg kicks.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Maryozep is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Krizto can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Maryozep seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Krizto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well Maryozep has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
