3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dobar TRATOR! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by TRATOR or perhaps it was just good defense by Moraiso which made him look bad. Moraiso scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Moraiso is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, TRATOR has managed to free his arm - good work. Moraiso seems to be working for a kimura but TRATOR defends the submission attempt. TRATOR looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Moraiso seems to be looking for submissions.
TRATOR wants to control but Moraiso is keeping busy and won't allow it. TRATOR is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. TRATOR is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Moraiso pulls his head out easily.

Moraiso postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! TRATOR is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moraiso, into his guard. Moraiso looking for submissions from the bottom but instead TRATOR passes into half guard.

Moraiso might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Moraiso looking for submissions off his back. TRATOR is trying to control. Moraiso wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. TRATOR is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

TRATOR is pressing down on Moraiso's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. TRATOR has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moraiso can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. TRATOR keeping moving, preventing Moraiso from controlling successfully. Moraiso drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but TRATOR manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moraiso has TRATOR in his guard. TRATOR wants to control from the top but Moraiso keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moraiso working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because TRATOR has passed into half guard!
Moraiso is not content to let TRATOR control the position. Moraiso looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Moraiso tries to get to full guard but TRATOR has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. TRATOR is looking to take a break and control but Moraiso is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. TRATOR moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Moraiso. TRATOR tries for a kimura but Moraiso is defending well. Moraiso tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. TRATOR trying to control the position but Moraiso is working away. TRATOR lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Moraiso down.
TRATOR wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moraiso keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. TRATOR wants to stand but Moraiso has his arm trapped. Moraiso sneaks back into half guard.

TRATOR passes the guard and advances to mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Dobar TRATOR will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
TRATOR tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moraiso swats him away and circles back towards the center. Horrible takedown by Moraiso or perhaps it was just good defense by TRATOR which made him look bad. TRATOR tries to sprawl but Moraiso drives through with a takedown into half guard. Moraiso is trying to work for a kimura but TRATOR is defending well.
TRATOR wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. TRATOR wants to control but Moraiso is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Moraiso is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and TRATOR reverses the position - he's now on top in Moraiso's guard. Moraiso keeping moving, preventing TRATOR from controlling successfully. TRATOR looking to pass the guard. TRATOR got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moraiso has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, TRATOR has managed to get both his arms back between Moraiso's legs - danger averted. TRATOR passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moraiso is refusing to be controlled, as TRATOR sits in half guard. Moraiso looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and TRATOR pushes past his half guard into mount! Moraiso is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Moraiso is working hard here to advance position. TRATOR is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Moraiso can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
TRATOR prevents Moraiso from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. TRATOR trying to control but he's not successful this time. Moraiso keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
TRATOR trying to control but Moraiso is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moraiso slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ricardo Moraiso. Well Moraiso has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
