The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holliday throws a shot from downtown. Cari moves away and avoids it.
Cari shoots for a double leg takedown but Holliday sprawls well. He's pushed Cari's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Holliday gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cari drops back looking for a leg! Holliday is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Holliday manages to kick Cari off! Cari jumps back into Holliday's guard.
Cari tries to free his leg and advance position but Holliday is retaining full guard.
Holliday is trying to control the position but Cari postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cari drops back looking for a leg! Holliday is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Holliday manages to kick Cari off! Cari jumps back into Holliday's guard.

Cari sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Holliday's guard.
Cari is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Holliday has managed to free his arm - good work.
