The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee cracks The Coward with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lee throws a hook but The Coward avoids it easily.
Lee misses with a two punch combination.
The Coward slips a straight right by Lee.
Lee blocks a head kick by The Coward.
Lee misses with a straight right.
The Coward tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The Coward throws a leg kick which misses Lee's front leg but catches the back leg as Lee tries to avoid it.
The Coward lands a really nice looking cross but Lee seems unphased.

Lee darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The Coward fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lee.

The Coward throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck The Coward on the side of the head.

The Coward looks to land a body kick but Lee moved away.

The Coward throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
The Coward buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Good leg kick by The Coward there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The Coward turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The Coward throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lee throws a combination. The Coward tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Machida The Coward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Coward misses with an uppercut.
Lee takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Coward throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lee counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lee throws a hook to the side of The Coward's head but The Coward sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lee lunges at The Coward with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by The Coward's hand.
The Coward has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
The Coward throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease.
The Coward looks for the body kick but Lee saw that one coming.

The Coward fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lee has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The Coward lands a big head kick that sends Lee tumbling to the mat! The Coward takes a step backwards and waves Lee back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The Coward dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Lee might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, The Coward has got the better of the exchanges.
The Coward lands a brutal head kick. Lee looks out on his feet and The Coward throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
