Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gouldmeister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lowery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gouldmeister comes to the cage accompanied by ACDC - Highway To Hell. Lowery has chosen It's Bout to go Down! as his entrance music. Royce Gouldmeister has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowery shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gouldmeister sprawls well. Gouldmeister wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lowery gets slowly back to his feet.

Gouldmeister darts in and clinches Lowery up against the cage.
Gouldmeister stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Lowery has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gouldmeister is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lowery is looking to control Gouldmeister's arms but Gouldmeister gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lowery has his back to the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lowery is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gouldmeister can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lowery can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gouldmeister is looking to escape.

Lowery goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gouldmeister turns into him and now he's in Lowery's guard.

Horrible takedown by Lowery or perhaps it was just good defense by Gouldmeister which made him look bad.

Lowery throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gouldmeister's waist but Gouldmeister gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lowery off to one side.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Lowery shoots for a double leg takedown but Gouldmeister sprawls well. He's pushed Lowery's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gouldmeister throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lowery was covering up waiting for the punch and Gouldmeister finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lowery is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gouldmeister defends well.

Gouldmeister postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lowery is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gouldmeister, into his guard.
