The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pfiel has time to react.
It looks like Josh Pfiel has been cut.
Mack throws a right hand that Pfiel ducks under and follows up with a left that Pfiel also avoids with ease.
Pfiel lands with a nice body kick.
Josh Pfiel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pfiel lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mack takes a step back to recover.
Mack is breathing heavily.

Pfiel lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mack will feel that in the morning.

Pfiel fails to land with a series of punches.
Pfiel is looking to clinch but Mack is avoiding it.
A jab from Mack misses.
Pfiel clobbers Mack with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Rodney Mack has been cut.
Pfiel throws a wild body kick that Mack sees coming a mile off.
Mack throws a head kick but Pfiel moves out of range.
Mack stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pfiel.
Mack gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pfiel throws a sloppy head kick
and Pfiel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
BOOM! Pfiel lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mack. Mack tries to recover but Pfiel is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mack lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
