Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Wiggin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Dee Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Dee Penn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Wiggin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jay Dee Penn! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiggin forces Penn back against the cage and clinches. Wiggin can't get the takedown.

Penn is trying to drag Wiggin to the mat but Wiggin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Wiggin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Penn avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Penn takes an elbow to the temple. Penn is working for takedown but Wiggin is calmly controlling the position for now. That was a close round but I would say that Andrew Wiggin will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Wiggin is nestled in close to Penn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Wiggin blocks the strikes from Penn.

Still in half guard, Wiggin seems content to control. Wiggin slips a nice elbow through Penn's hands, connecting with Penn's forehead. Penn wants to control but Wiggin is keeping busy.

Wiggin is trying to keep an underhook but Penn manages to get the takedown into half guard. Wiggin wants to control but Penn is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wiggin is trying to stand up here but Penn is controlling him well. Penn throwing shots but Wiggin is blocking nicely. Penn throws a strike but Wiggin avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Penn throws and elbow that misses. Wiggin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Penn's guard. Nice move by Wiggin! Penn tries to land a sweep but no joy. Penn is working an open guard so Wiggin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wiggin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Penn, pushing him back against the cage. Wiggin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Penn gets caught flat footed, as Wiggin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wiggin gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Penn throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Penn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wiggin is one step ahead there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wiggin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Wiggin postures up and lands a big shot to Penn's brow. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wiggin works to advance to full mount. Penn defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Wiggin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Penn manages to avoid the submission attempt. Wiggin is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Penn looks calm but he's in trouble here. Wiggin gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Penn is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Wiggin lets go of the hold and Penn can pop his arm back in it's socket.
